  1. Data Tools

  3. The data tools operate on the 2D data much like regular Macintosh drawing programs do.

  5. Arrow tool‚Ķ
  6. The arrow tool is used to move and resize objects or regions of interest.
  7.  
  8. Regions of interest tools‚Ķ
  9. Use these tools select regions of data.  These regions can be used to copy and most math functions.

  11. Hand tool‚Ķ
  12. The Hand tool is used to rotate the color look up table.  Click on this tool, then click and drag up and down on the CLUT window.

  14. Fill tools‚Ķ
  15. Fills with either the fill pattern or the a last selected filter depending on the letter in the fill state box (see Fill state box)

  17. Line tool‚Ķ
  18. Draws a line using the fill number

  20. Pen tool‚Ķ
  21. Fills point by point with the fill number

  23. Fill state box‚Ķ
  24. Toggles F-filter (Rectangle, Gaussian, Cosine, Hamming, etc) or N-number fill.  NOTE:  Set the windowing function by using the Filter or Window data menu option, just set the name of the function and use the fill tools to place the filter.

  27. Click on this box to change fill number the box color represents the color which will be used and the number is the value which will be place in the data

  29. Slice tool‚Ķ
  30. Click and drag allows you to see a slice through of the data

  32. Baste tool‚Ķ
  33. Click on a pixel in a data window and that value and represented color will be placed in the Fill color/number box and will be use for drawing

  35. Measure tools‚Ķ
  36. Use this tool to measure between two pixels in a data window

  38. Paste box‚Ķ
  39. In order to give the user better control over paste operations, pasting is done in a 2 step way.  Step one:  use the Mac traditional Paste command from the Edit or type Command-V.  This pastes the clipboard into the active window and allows you to move the pasted clipboard around the window using the mouse or arrow keys.  Step two:  once the desired position has be found, click on the paste box in the tool window, this will perform the paste operation last selected in the Paste Options dialog.
